MidOhio Library Digital Initiative

This site is funded by the members and provides audiobooks and print via
the Internet. May be loaded on a PC, PDA, MP3 or SmartPhone. Users must
have a valid library card at a participating library. Funding for this
project was provided by the State Library of Ohio using federal money from
the Institute of Museum and Library Services and from the libraries in the
cooperative.

The Photohio site is a repository of
historic images. The collections of several Central Ohio Libraries and Historical
Societies have been digitized and are available
in a keyword searchable database. From this site you can search through collections of newspaper photo
archives, yearbooks, local historical
publications, etc.
This site was born out of a grant project managed
by the Grandview Heights Public
Library.
The project was funded in part by an LSTA grant funds and local library
funds.

This database is a subject index to children's picture books owned by the Columbus Metropolitan Library. Use it to find a book on almost any topic--from Aardvarks to Zimbabwe.

This database is an index to play collections owned by the Columbus Metropolitan Library. Since most of the plays owned by the library are in collections, it is often necessary to check this index to see if the library owns a certain play. The database can be searched by Title, Playwright, or Subject.

An index to over 10,000 children's science experiments and projects drawn from over 500 recommended children's science books. It is a guide to actual experiments and contains activities suitable for elementary to advanced secondary school students with recommended grade level guidelines included.

This database is a title listing of songs found in fakebooks which contain melody line, lyrics, and chords to music.

This database is a subject index to juvenile and teen fiction books owned by the Columbus Metropolitan Library. It may be searched by author, title, subject, and copyright year, and the entries include grade levels and page counts.

photographs from the Norwester magazine. The
Norwester was published monthly by the Upper
Arlington community from November 1917 through
March 1922 and is a rich resource for historical,
cultural, architectural, and genealogical
information.

is a Bicentennial commemoration coordinated by
the Worthington Historical
