Digital Downloads - A Library Collaboration

This site is funded by the members and provides audiobooks and print via
the Internet. May be loaded on a PC, PDA, MP3 or SmartPhone. Users must
have a valid library card at a participating library. Funding for this
project was provided by the State Library of Ohio using federal money from
the Institute of Museum and Library Services and from the libraries in the
cooperative.
Central Library
Consortium

The Photohio site is a repository of
historic images. The collections of several Central Ohio Libraries and Historical
Societies have been digitized and are available
in a keyword searchable database. From this site you can search through collections of newspaper photo
archives, yearbooks, local historical
publications, etc.
This site was born out of a grant project managed
by the Grandview Heights Public
Library.
The project was funded in part by an LSTA grant funds and local library
funds.
Columbus Metropolitan
Library

The Central Ohio Buildings databases indexes
articles, books, and visuals related to historic
Columbus buildings.

indexes news articles of local interest from 1960
- 1997, and obituaries from 1940 - 1997.

This online photograph collection is a
selection of historic Columbus images from the Columbus Circulating
Visual Collection.

The registry is a collection of
images of original artwork and corresponding
information about the artists.
Upper Arlington
Public LibraryUA Archives

The UA Archives
website is part of the digital library
initiative of the Upper Arlington Public Library. Through
the UA Archives, the Library cultivates ongoing partnerships
with the Upper Arlington Historical Society, the City of Upper
Arlington, the Upper Arlington City School District, community
organizations, and individuals to digitize items of historical
interest and make them available to the public. The collection
currently includes the Norwester magazine, Upper Arlington's
original community newspaper, published from November 1917
through March 1922, as well as historical photographs and maps.
Beginning in 2009, the UA Archives will also provide access
to Upper Arlington High School yearbooks published from 1924-1999
and a collection of oral histories.

The Worthington Memory
Project
is a Bicentennial commemoration coordinated by
the Worthington Historical
Society
and the Worthington Public
Library.
Staff, volunteers and students are working to
select, digitize and organize local historical
photographs and documents into an online
scrapbook displayed on the Web.
